The moon was much on our minds this week, as the solar eclipse brought people out to the streets to party like pagans. In fact, we were still having lunar thoughts last night at the rehearsal, trying decide on which of The Flood’s many moon tunes to use to commemorate the event, when — as usual — Michelle nailed it. Sing it, girl!

- Dozens of musicians been members of The 1937 Flood over the years since it stumbled into existence in the mid 1970s. However, everyone says the current configuration is the best ever. Current members are Charlie Bowen, David Peyton, Joe Dobbs, Doug Chaffin, Sam St. Clair, Dave Ball and Jacob Scarr.
